Overview

The Town of Delafield is located in Waukesha County, in the heart of Lake Country. With a population of 8,095 residents, the Town of Delafield sits along I94, between Highway 16 and Highway 18. Half of Pewaukee Lake is within the Town's jurisdiction, along with most of Lapham Peak State Park. As a residential community, the Town takes pride in recreational areas, including walking paths, baseball/softball fields, open spaces, and hundreds of acres of State owned park lands.

Lapham Peak

Lapham Peak is a state park located in the Kettle Moraine Forest. The park is home to the highest peak in Waukesha County (1,233 feet above sea level), and includes over 25 miles of paths to explore. At the top of the peak is an observation deck where visitors can see as far as Milwaukee, Holy Hill, and even northern Illinois. The park also includes a butterfly garden, picnic and camping areas, and an amphitheater that hosts different plays and musicals during the summer. For more information on Lapham Peak, click here.

Recreation

The Town has four parks that are owned and maintained by the Town of Delafield.

Sports Commons

The Delafield Sports Commons is the largest of the four, housing two baseball fields, a basketball court, a soccer field, a skateboard park, a beach volleyball court, a playground, and a pavilion.  The park is located next to Delafield Town Hall/Fire Station, near the corner of Maple Avenue and Silvernail Road, just south of I94. The Town of Delafield has its own baseball/softball/tee-ball program during the summer for residents and non residents. The program is funded by local sponsors, and is a great way for families to get involved with the community and meet other families in the area.

Elmhurst Park

Elmhurst Park is located off of Elmhurst Road, a quarter mile south of Silvernail Road. The 5+ acre park houses a playground, open fields, a pavilion, and a walking trail.

Deltown Park

Deltown Park is located on Golf Road, next to the Highway Department. This park houses a softball field and a miniature sledding hill.

Highway KE Park

Highway KE Park is located off Highway KE, across the street from Hartland Middle School. This park has a walking trail and open space. This park space is located north of the Woodridge Subdivision.
